Reward offered for information leading to missing Springfield man

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The family of a 23-year-old Massachusetts man who hasn't been seen since he left a bar earlier this month is offering a $6,000 reward for information that leads to him.

Achim Bailey has been missing since Jan. 13, when he was seen leaving Samuel's Tap & Table at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield at about 1:30 a.m.

Police tracked his movements via surveillance video but eventually lost the trail. Additional footage shows someone believed to be Bailey walking on nearby railroad tracks around 3 a.m.

His cellphone has been dead since a few hours after he left the bar and there has been no activity with his bank account.

The Springfield resident is a black male who is 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.
