Massachusetts State Police are looking to identify a man suspected of vandalizing the State House.
Police released surveillance images of the suspect, after it was first reported on Sunday that graffiti was spray-painted on the State House, a DCR guard building on Mount Vernon, the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge and a privately-owned home on Mount Vernon at Hancock Street.
State Police also believe he's the same person who tagged the State House, other buildings and a car earlier this winter.
"Property damage is definitely not something that should be acceptable," a resident named Sabrina said.

Much of the graffiti consists of political messages, including phrases like "Rich vs. Poor," "Class Warfare" and other messages associated with inequality left in blue spray paint.
"I don't know the extent of the damage done," Beacon Hill resident Andrew Falalcci said. "Graffiti itself is not the appropriate way to go about it. If you're going to spread that message, you have every right to do so. But, you have to do so in a way that's not going to harm the public."
In all of the pictures, the man is carrying a backpack and wearing a dark jacket and a winter hat.
"I think it’s the wrong way to do it," Beacon Hill resident Bill Marinelli said. "If you want a message out, you should do it the right way. Ruining someone’s property is not the right way to do things. It doesn't matter if it’s Beacon Hill or not, you don't mess with other people’s property."
State Police are now working with Boston Police to see if other cases of similar graffiti on homes and cars in Beacon Hill are connected to the same suspect.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Massachusetts State Police at 617-740-7812.
