Mass. State Lottery holding unusual $10M Texas Hold 'Em tournament

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – The Massachusetts State Lottery is holding a very unusual $10 million Texas Hold 'Em tournament.

In the simulated tournament, the 560 players are people who have won qualification on the old Texas Hold 'Em scratch ticket that recently was taken out of circulation.

Players will be given two pre-assigned cards and are guaranteed to win at least $2,000.

Rounds of simulated Texas Hold 'Em Poker will be played. The further you advance, the more cash you win. Ultimately, there will be one $10 million winner.

All 560 players will participate in the simulated poker tournament live at the Garden on April 6.
