Mashpee teen heading to Super Bowl through Make-A-Wish Foundation

MASHPEE, Mass. — Dylan Fasano has big dreams. His wish is to go to the Super Bowl.

Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Mashpee teenager is headed to Atlanta.

“I’ve been to Celtics games and Bruins and Red Sox and never been to a Pat’s game… Football is my favorite sport," Dylan told Boston 25 News.

And there's icing on this cake.

The Patriots - his favorite team - are taking on the Rams.

It's a wish come true for this 17-year-old who admires Tom Brady and the way he tackles adversity.

“Even his age. He being at this elite level that he plays at. He’s 41 years old and wants to play to 45. If he can do that, he can do anything," he said.

Dyland says that inspires him.

“I’ve also tried to improve in like how to be healthier and eat better how to live the longest happiest life I possibly can," he said.

Dylan and his family will take this trip, joining 16 other Make-A-Wish kids and families from across the country.

Dylan has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Diagnosed as a toddler, he has been in a wheelchair since he was 11. He now needs full-time care, but despite his struggles, Dylan has another wish that inspires us.
