MARBLEHEAD, Mass. — Every year a house in Marblehead is the scene of an incredible Halloween creation, this year is no exception with those visiting treated to the site of what looks like a shipwreck.

This ghostly galleon literally pops right out of the garage on Pleasant Street. It looks real and it really is something to see.

The homeowner is an architect who creates a different Halloween treat for his neighbors and people from all over who hear about it on social media. This year it's a sunken shipwreck.

Trick-or-treaters can actually go through a hole to see inside. Last year the owner Tom Saltsman built a dragon that was a huge hit.

This year's scene causes people to stop in their tracks to see what the owner created for Halloween 2019.

"It's wonderful, every year it's just more exciting," said Peter Cheney of Marblehead. "It's a passion for him. Kids and families love to come here and see it."

The forecast is gloomy, but if Thursday's weather makes it tough to get to there, this sunken ship is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m.
