BOSTON — Family of a man killed over the weekend after being shot outside a club in Boston is still trying to piece together what happened as the alleged trigger man sits behind bars.
Michael Miranda was at the Cure Lounge on Tremont Street Saturday night. Around 2:15 a.m. Sunday a large fight broke out in front of the club and he was shot and killed.
"How do I explain that to a 3-year-old that his daddy's not coming home no more? He as nothing but love. He loved everyone and they robbed him,” Cassandra Rodriguez, the mother of Michael’s son, said.
Police arrested 29-year-old Kiewann Watson for the shooting Thursday. Despite a not guilty plea, the judge ordered him to remain behind bars until a dangerous hearing next month.
"Our brother was a random victim of violence in Boston's club district. And everyone should care,” Michael’s sister Liz Miranda said. “We want the whole city to know we're not resting until we bring him justice."

Watson's lawyer said his client was not the person who pulled the trigger.
"I want him to spend the rest of his life in jail. He took someone from us. He took a father,” Michael’s sister Desiree Miranda said.
