BOSTON — Boston Logan International Airport has set a new record for most passengers screened in a day, according to Transportation Security Administration Public Affairs Spokesperson Lisa Farbstein.
Farbstein said 77,451 passengers passed through security checkpoints on April 12. Many families were traveling to vacation detinations because public school students had this week off.
The previous record was set on April 13, 2018 when 75,760 passengers were screened at security checkpoints.
