At 7:15 a.m., East Bridgewater Police responded to the junior/senior high school after being notified of a threat made toward the school via the anonymous app StopIt. Police say the threat toward the school made reference to the 199 Columbine High School shooting. Police say the threat did not include any specifics or weapons.
The school was placed into lockdown and other schools in the district were put in a shelter-in-place out of an abundance of caution.
