A Massachusetts homeowner came face-to-face with a bear that was lounging in his yard and eyeballing his strawberry plants.
Rich Pettinelli, of Kingston, shared a video with Boston 25 that showed the bear admiring the flowers in his front yard and lurking closely to his cherished crop of strawberries.
In the video, Pettinelli opens his window and tells the bear, “Hey! Get outta here! Get outta here!.. Leave those strawberries alone.”
The bear then stops short of the plants, looks directly up at Pettinelli, and scurries away.
“Yeah, you better run,” Pettinelli added.
The bear sighting is the latest of many in the Bay State in recent days.
