Two-car crash in Foxborough causes serious injuries, Route 140 closed

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Route 140 in Foxborough was closed Saturday night after a collision between two cars left one woman dead.

The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. in the area of 192 Main Street.

Preliminary investigation shows a Toyota Corolla was traveling Northbound when it crossed the center line and struck a Hyundai Santa Fe.

The drive of the Santa Fe was wearing a seatbelt and did not require to be transported to the hospital.

The driver of the Toyota, Olga Perry, 88, of Foxborough was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. She was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to police.

According to officials, it has not been determined whether Perry experienced a medical event prior to the collision.

The crash remains under investigation by Foxborough Police and Massachusetts State Police.

The roadway was opened shortly before 8:30 p.m.
