A woman in her 80s was rushed to the hospital after a collision with a Massachusetts State Police cruiser in Brookline Wednesday, state police told Boston 25 News.
The state police cruiser was traveling at a “very low speed” on Route 9 and Hammond Street when it hit and knocked over the woman, a state police spokesperson said.
The woman hit her head on her ground but was conscious and alert when she was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said.
“We will continue to investigate the crash, and we wish the woman a speedy recovery,” an MSP spokesperson said.
