WILMINGTON, Mass. — The town of Wilmington has canceled their boil water order which had been in place since Thursday.
“Following the analysis of two rounds of resampling, MassDEP has LIFTED the Boil Water Order for the Town of Wilmington, effective today, September 10, 2022.” According to the town’s media posts.

The town also adds on their website: “On behalf of the Town of Wilmington, thank you for your patience and understanding while the Department of Public Works, Town Officials, MWRA, and MassDEP worked to resolve this issue.”
According to the latest census, Wilmington is home to over 23 thousand people.
