Being a parent can be challenging especially figuring out a healthy parenting style that works for you and your partner.

In this week’s Wellness Wednesday Dr. George James, a licensed marriage and family therapist, speaks with Boston 25 Anchor Vanessa Welch about a new study that shows how parenting styles can have a big impact on their child’s mental health.

Researchers found children exposed to overly controlling and aggressive parenting were twice as likely to have mental health issues.
