Victim shot, two suspects arrested after shooting in Margaritas restaurant in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — A shooting happened at Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant on Cochituate Road in Framingham at 9:08 p.m. Thursday.

Two suspects are now facing charges after they were arrested for allegedly being involved in the shooting that resulted in a male victim shot.

The Framingham Police Department told Boston 25 the bullet grazed the victim’s head. The 35-year-old victim suffers from non-life-threatening injuries. Shortly after the shooting, the victim was transported to the MetroWest Medical Center for treatment.

When officials arrived at the scene, witnesses provided the license plate, description, and direction in which the suspect fled after the incident occurred inside the restaurant.

During a motor vehicle stop on Route 30, police arrested the two suspects, 22-year-old Cameron Dulmaine of Northbridge and 30-year-old Patrick Riley of Framingham. During the arrest, officers were able to seize a Taurus 9mm handgun.

Riley is facing charges of attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of a loaded firearm without a license, and discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.

Dulmaine is facing a charge of possession of a firearm without a license.
