UPDATE: Bellingham Police locate missing 13-year-old

BELLINGHAM, Mass. — The search for a missing teen in Bellingham has come to an end after police located the boy safely in a vacant house.

“We talked to a friend [of the missing teen], who said he’s hung around here before,” Bellingham Police Lt. Kevin Ranieri said, Thursday.

The vacant house where the teen was found was located on Rondeau Road.

Police located the teen shortly before 7:30 p.m.

Police say when the located the teen, he was in the garage of the home.

“Looks like he had food in there, so he’s been in there probably all day,” Lt. Ranieri said.

Police say the teen was taken to an area hospital to be evaluated.

“I think he is tired” Lt. Ranieri told Reporters.


The teen had been missing since Wednesday, according to police.

Police put out several posts on social media informing the public of their search, as well as asking for the public’s help. Once the teen was found, Police updated their Facebook page with the following message to let the public know, “We are very happy to report that Asher has been located and is safe. We would like to thank the numerous agencies that assisted with this matter and we are glad that the best possible outcome was achieved.”
