Two women, 2-year-old, hospitalized in Worcester crash

WORCESTER, Mass. — Three people, including a toddler, were injured following a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday.

Officers responding to the intersection of Camp Street and Cambridge Street just before 5 p.m. for a report of a car crash found two vehicles with heavy damage and airbag deployment, according to Worcester Police.

Crews found a mother and a 2-year-old child had sustained injuries in the collision that required immediate medical attention. A female in the other vehicle appeared to be injured as well, with officers needing to cut the airbag of the car to extricate her.

All three parties were transported to an area hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

No charges have been filed and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
