BOSTON — Two people were rushed to the hospital for stab wounds after an alleged double stabbing in Jaimaca Plain Saturday afternoon.
According to police, officers responded to reports of a person stabbed at 5 Woodside Ave in Jamaica Plain.
Before police arrived at the scene, two victims ran into the District 13 police station located at 3347 Washington Street, Jamaica Plain suffering from stab wounds.
Both victims were transported to separate Boston hospitals.
Victim 1, an adult female, was stabbed multiple times and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Victim 2 was also stabbed multiple times and is expected to survive.
Investigators were later spotted in the backyard of a house at the intersection of Forest Hills Road and Glen Road.
Police say they arrested one minor in the area of Glen Road.
She was taken to the hospital and charged with murder.
According to the Suffolk County District Attorney, she will be arraigned on murder charges in the Roxbury location of Boston Municipal Court Monday morning.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
