Troopers on scene at state agency in New Hampshire for ongoing investigation, state police say

CONCORD, N.H. — Troopers are on scene at a state agency in New Hampshire for an ongoing investigation, state police said late Monday afternoon.

There is no threat to public safety, state police said.

State Police responded to the New Hampshire Insurance Department at 21 South Fruit St. in Concord to investigate an incident at that agency.

Authorities did not immediately release information about the incident and the reason for the law enforcement response to the agency.

“Troopers have secured the scene and are expected to remain in the area for several hours while the investigation is ongoing,” state police said in a statement around 5 p.m. Monday.

Additional information would be released as details become available, state police said.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
