Transit officials investigating stabbing at MBTA station

BOSTON — MBTA officials are investigating after a person was stabbed during a fight at the Ashmont MBTA station, Monday.

A young man was stabbed in the leg according to Transit Police. The injury is “non-life threatening” according to officials.

A second person “sustained a superficial injury” according to a tweet sent out by the Transit Police.

The incident remains under investigation.
