Mass. — It’s Halloween, and what’s better than watching a horror movie for a nice scare.
When is comes to to horror films, sometimes it’s hard to decide what to chose with so many options to choose from.
Comparitech released a new survey of The Most Popular Halloween Movies by State 2022.
Massachusettsans agree that their favorite horror movie is a modern one called ‘The Black Phone’ which received a rating of 7 on IMDb.
The Black Phone follows the story of a 13-year-old boy named Finney. He was abducted by a child killer and locked in a soundproof basement. Finney starts to receive phone calls from earlier victims of his abductor learning about their stories.
19 other states agreed with Massachusetts.
People who live in New Hampshire agreed that their favorite movie is Hereditary, which received a 7.3 on IMDb.
States like Iowa and Wyoming like classics like The Exorcist, and people from Maryland adore The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974).
