MEDFORD, Mass. — Santa arrived early this year in Medford. Teamsters Local 25 took time to bring toys for children in need through Medford Family Network.
The toys came from the Teamsters Local 25 Holiday Toy Drive which is shifting into overdrive. Local 25 volunteers recently delivered thousands of dollars worth of toys to the Medford Family Network, which will distribute the toys to families it serves.
The need for the Teamsters Local 25 Toy Drive is more critical than ever, as ongoing economic challenges, coupled with inflationary pressures and the lingering aftermath of the pandemic, have left many families in need.
The Medford Family Network operates as a free universal parenting education and family support program.
Teamsters Local 25 has a longstanding tradition of collecting and distributing toys to various organizations that assist families and individuals facing hardships during the holiday season.
Teamsters Local 25 are collecting toys for their holiday toy drive. All toys can be dropped off at the Local 25 Union Hall, located at 544 Main Street in Charlestown.
