BOSTON — Teamsters Local 25 successfully delivered two trucks of holiday toys in time for the ‘Boston Gives Back: A Winter Wonderland’ event.
On Friday, December 20, Teamsters Local 25 volunteers arrived at the Bolling Municipal Building with two trucks filled with toys for children attending the Boston Gives Back event the next day. This annual family celebration featured games, activities, and educational opportunities for children and families to learn about Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa.
This toy delivery was part of an expanded effort led by Mayor Michelle Wu to meet the growing need for toys for children in Boston facing hardships.
According to a release, the Teamsters Local 25 Holiday Toy Drive has been a cherished tradition, providing toys to children in need each year.
Teamsters Local 25 was proud to partner with the City of Boston for this year’s event, ensuring that the holiday season was brighter for many local families.
