DENNIS, Mass. — Authorities arrested a suspect for allegedly making threats against specific students at a Cape Cod high school on December 25.
The suspect, who police are not naming, is charged with a violation of MGL 269/14/B Bomb/hijack threat causing serious public alarm.
According to the Dennis Police Department, they received reports from several parents regarding threatening social media posts made towards certain students at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School.
The threats allegedly reference acts of gun violence.
Officers worked with school officials and identified the person making the social media posts.
The suspect was arrested and arraigned in the Orleans District Court on December 27.
