BOSTON — The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on mental health. Rates of anxiety and depression have spiked and the number of adults reporting the need for mental health services has quadrupled. The National Alliance On Mental Illness of Massachusetts works to educate the public about mental health issues, combat discrimination and helps individuals and families navigate the mental health system.

Boston 25 will join NAMI Massachusetts on May 22 to support mental health awareness for all and raise funds for their programs. Join us in lifting the stigma around mental health issues by signing up for the virtual Nami Walks Your Way event. You can choose your own route and make a donation to keep resources like NAMI’s Compass Helpline going strong.

From finding providers to getting through a crisis, NAMI Massachusetts is the state’s leading voice on mental health. See a complete list of their resources.
