BOSTON, Mass. — Why did the geese cross Route 93? To get to the other side of course, although they had some help getting there.
Early Sunday afternoon, the gaggle was trapped inside the HOV Lane on Route 93 South in Boston. The two parents refused to abandon their goslings, but couldn’t find a way to safely cross the highway.
State Police Troopers David Oliveira, Andrew Phelan, and Jose DePena, along with Boston Animal Control, were able to round up the family and relocate them to a safer location.
