MOUNT WASHINGTON, N.H. — A camera atop the highest peak in the Northeast captured an absolutely stunning sight early Wednesday morning.
The Mount Washington Observatory shared a timelapse video that shoed the Northern Lights at peak visibility between 1 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.
Residents in Maine and Vermont also reported catching a glimpse of the early morning spectacle, according to the Observatory.
An upcoming “Science in the Mountain” program will be discussing the Aurora Borealis, the Observatory noted.
