Car windshield impaled by branch during NH winter storm, no injuries reported

(Lee NH Police Department)

LEE, N.H. — One New Hampshire driver is lucky to be alive after a branch impaled their windshield Monday afternoon during a storm.

Lee Police say the driver wasn’t injured but they want to remind the public to stay home if you’re able to during extreme winter weather.

“We care about your safety,” the department wrote in a social media post. “We’re here if you need us. Hoping everyone weather the incoming storm with ease.”

The Boston 25 Weather Team is monitoring a winter storm that’s expected to bring snow and heavy rains to the southern New England region Wednesday night.
