WOODS HOLE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Steamship Authority announced early Sunday morning that all ferry services will be canceled through noon due to the oncoming Hurricane Henri that was announced as a Category 1 hurricane late Saturday night.

Additionally ALL trips of the high-speed ferry M/V Iyanough on the Nantucket route are now CANCELED for the entire day.

Steamship Authority said that due to the US Coast Guard shutting down the ports, all traffic has been suspended through noon Sunday, August 22.

Steamship Authority officials said they will continue to monitor the forecast for Hurricane Henri as it approaches Cape Cod and the Islands, and advise its customers to keep checking for updates throughout the day on improvements to its ferry service.
