ORIGINAL: Mass. State Police and the Pittsfield Police Department are searching for a missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen Saturday night when she left her home on Columbus Avenue in the town.

That missing girl has been identified as Roos Bajanth, who is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 90 lbs. Police say she has, “brown skin, black hair and brown eyes.”

“We are investigating the possibility that Roos may be with a male she met online, and whose identity is not known to us at this time,” State Police said in a release.

State police said Monday that the investigation into her disappearance is ongoing and they asked the public specifically in western Massachusetts and the Schenectady and Albany, NY, areas to call 911 if they spot the missing girl. State police had said in a Sunday news release that Roos may have been spotted in Schenectady early on Nov. 8 but it was unclear if she was still in the area.
