Tracking our next snow

BOSTON — A cold start in the 20s Monday will warm to the 30s with some sunshine through the day. Clouds will thicken during the evening and another batch of snow and rain is on the way. Likely just a coating for Tuesday morning, which will be enough to make it slick in some areas. Southeast MA, Marshfield to the islands, will see mainly, if not all, rain showers.

While there could be some mixed showers Tuesday night, the next significant precipitation will be rain Thursday. That will be some snow in the highest mountains in northern New England only.

New Year’s Eve is trending dry and not too cold. Rain is expected Saturday. It may transition to snow Sunday, so that will be one to watch. Stay with us!
