Ski ya later!: 97-year-old man hangs up the skis after one last run in Haverhill

HAVERHILL, Mass — The time has come for Herb Oedel to hang up the skis and hit the ski lodge for good.

The 97-year-old Oedel celebrated his last trip down the slopes at the Bradford Ski Area in Haverhill Wednesday.

The ski area shared that Oedel has been skiing for 90 years, including many runs at the Bradford Ski Area.
