BOSTON — Six people have been displaced following a fire in Boston’s Roslindale neighborhood, Monday.
The fire took place in a single family home on Paine St, shortly after 5 p.m., according to the Boston Fire Department.
Flames were seen coming from the home’s attic when crews arrived on scene. Everyone in the house at the time of the fire was able to get out, officials say.
The Red Cross has been called in to help the six people displaced, two adults and four children, according to fire officials.
The heavy fire was knocked down. As of 7 p.m., crews remained on scene to monitor for any hot spots.
No one was injured as a result of the fire, officials say.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
