Shooting near Cambridge apartment complex under investigation

CAMRBIDGE, Mass. — Police in Cambridge are investigating a shooting near an apartment building Friday morning.

Police were called to an apartment complex on Magazine Street around 2:10 a.m. after someone reported hearing an argument followed by a gunshot.

Although officers could not locate a victim inside the apartment building, they eventually found a victim with a gunshot wound in Central Square.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital.

Cambridge police say they have not found a specific crime scene but are investigating around Magazine Street.
