‘Several’ Lynn Police officers put on administrative leave amid investigation

LYNN, Mass. — Multiple Lynn Police officers have been placed on administrative leave following “allegations of inappropriate conduct,” the department announced Thursday night.

Those allegations stem from information provided by another law enforcement agency. An investigation has been opened.

“The Lynn Police Department Professional Standards Division is conducting the investigation, which includes the use of inappropriate language used by two officers in a private text conversation,” city police wrote in their release Thursday.
