Seal spotted in Falmouth cranberry bog

FALMOUTH- — Falmouth police are asking the public to stay away from the newest visitor to the coastal town.

According to the Falmouth Police, a seal has found its way into the cranberry bog off the East Falmouth Highway. In a Saturday statement, the department said that representatives from the International Fund for Animal Welfare are monitoring the seal and are asking residents to stay away from it until it finds its way back to the sea.
