Seabrook officers rescue ducklings stuck in storm drain

(Seabrook NH Police Department)

SEABROOK, N.H. — Police rescued a raft of ducklings that fell into a storm drain Thursday morning.

Seabrook Police say six ducklings were waddling across the Five Guys parking lot on Lafayette Road with their mother when they walked over the drain and fell through the holes, which were too big for them.

Animal Control Officer Jeffrey Baillargeon responded to the scene and jumped into the hole to rescue the ducklings. The babies were uninjured and reunited with their mother a short time later.

Responding officers credited the public for their assistance with the matter, and ACO Baillargeon for climbing into the drain.
