LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Two teens were transported to the hospital Tuesday morning after being struck by a car outside their school.
According to police, two Londonderry High School students were hit on the southbound shoulder of Mammoth Road around 8 a.m. as they were trying to cross.
Authorities say the two victims were conscious and spoke with officers and good Samaritans who stopped to help. The duo was transported to Parkland Medical Center with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, according to police. However, the driver will be cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
Police say upgraded charges are likely.
