Red Sox, Walker Buehler agree to one-year deal, sources say

BOSTON — The Boston Red Sox and two-time All-Star Walker Buehler are in agreement on a one-year deal according to Yahoo Sports’ Russell Dorsey.

Right-hander Walker Buehler is in agreement with the Red Sox on a one-year, $21.05 million contract. The deal includes incentives and a pending physical.

According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, Buehler’s deal includes an additional $2.5 million in performance bonuses, sources said.

The 30-year-old will spend his first full season after his second Tommy John surgery pitching at Fenway Park.

Buehler has spent his entire seven-year career with the Los Angeles Dodgers, winning two World Series with the team.
