EVERETT, Mass. — A unique destination that combines an indoor park for dogs and a full-service bar for pet parents is opening in Massachusetts this week.

Park-9 will officially become New England’s first “dog bar” when it celebrates its grand opening with a leash-cutting ceremony on Waters Avenue in Everett on Thursday.

“We’ve meticulously designed over 10,000 square feet of bar and indoor park space to create a fun, clean, and safe environment where dogs and humans alike are welcome,” Park-9 said. “Customers can choose their own adventure and take advantage of our multiple on- and off-leash areas (both in and outdoors). Our 5,000 square foot indoor park, featuring a full-service bar, is climate-controlled for year-round enjoyment.”

The drink menu features cleverly named beverages like Snoop D-O-GG or the Bob Barker, Boston Magazine reported.

Dog parents can enjoy a 30-foot-long bar space while the fur babies frolic in a large warehouse-like space that boasts backyard vibes.

Park-9 also plans to offer a doggie daycare program.

Those interested in visiting Park-9 can find more information online or by calling 617-294-8048.
