UPDATE: Police deactivate silver alert for missing 72-year-old Mass. woman

MONTAGUE, Mass. — UPDATE — Joan Martin been located and is safe. The Silver Alert is deactivated.

Montague Police have issued a silver alert for a 72-year-old woman.

Joan Martin of Turners Falls was last seen leaving her son’s home in Montague on Friday morning.

Martin was planning on going to her sisters house in Somerset but never arrived.

Martin is a white female who is 4′11″ and approximately 105 lbs, according to police.

She was last seen with her dog, driving a blue 2019 Subaru Legacy with Mass plate: 1VYR10.

Anyone with information on her is asked to contact the Montague Police Department at (413)-863-8911.
