QUINCY, Mass. — The Massachusetts State Police are currently investigating a body that was found by a dog walker at Squantum Point Park in Quincy Monday morning.

Police told Boston 25 the walker came across the body, which was unresponsive on the ground, around 10:15 on Monday morning.
“The adult male was located in shallow water,” State Police wrote in a release Monday. “We have identified him and are still in the process of notifying [the] next of kin.

Police added that there is no indication that there is any threat to public safety.
