NORFOLK, Mass. — Police have identified a 54-year-old Taunton woman who was killed in a crash in Norfolk on Friday morning.
Pamela Stone died after the sedan she was driving crashed into a tree, Norfolk Police Chief Timothy Heinz said in a statement on Monday afternoon.
At 10:31 a.m. on Friday, Norfolk Police responded to the area of Needham and Main streets for reports of a crash.
When officers arrived, they found a sedan had crashed into a tree.
Stone was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, where she later died, Heinz said.
”On behalf of the Norfolk Police Department, we would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Pamela Stone,” Heinz said. “We wish them comfort in their time of mourning.”
The crash remains under investigation by the Norfolk Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit.
