LINCOLN, R.I. — A Pembroke man is accused of leaving his two-year-old son in the car at Twin River Casino on Saturday afternoon.
Lincoln Police said casino security told them Patrick Mulrain was in the casino for almost an hour while his son was outside the running car with the doors locked.

Mulrain told police he only went into the casino to use the bathroom.
Paramedics evaluated then child at the scene. The boy was then brought to the police station where he was picked up by his mother.
Police arrested Mulrain and charged him with cruelty to or neglect of a child. His bail was set at $2,500. He’s due in court on November 30.
Police also contacted the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families and advised them of the incident.
