FOXBORO, Mass — Football is still a few months away. So it was the sound of pickleball echoing throughout Patriot Place Friday morning.

Boston 25′s Rachel Keller participated in the Patriot Place Pickleball Classic. Ran by ELEVEN-0, the three-day event will host tournaments in mixed doubles, women’s doubles and men’s doubles.

The pickleball tournament is the first such event held in the Northeast.

If you’ve never played, played every single day, this event is definitely for you,” said Jodi Cullity, founder of ELEVEN-0. “Everyone of every shape, size. Six years old, 86 years old. Let’s get out there and have some fun.”

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
