Person struck when car crashes into building in Dorchester, 3 people sent to hospital, police say

BOSTON — A person was struck and three people were sent to the hospital when a vehicle drove into a building in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood early Saturday afternoon, police said.

The person struck was inside the building when the vehicle crashed into a glass storefront at 468 Blue Hill Ave. at 1:17 p.m., police said.

Three people were taken by ambulance to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

The victims’ conditions were not immediately known.

A large glass storefront was shattered when the crash occurred. Several building bricks were also damaged in the crash.
