FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — We’re a month away from a record-breaking summer concert season at Gillette Stadium, beginning with three sold-out nights of Taylor Swift.
The home of the New England Patriots and Revolution will host 10 concerts this year, surpassing the previous mark of 9 set in 2016 and again in 2022.
The first “The Eras Tour” show kicks off on May 19, and Gillette Stadium officials would like to remind fans attending of important ticketholder information:
With the return of concerts to the venue, so to returns the traffic. Officials are urging fans to allow themselves extra time when traveling to or near the stadium on event days. Traffic restrictions will be in place on local roads and fans need to use I-95, I-495, or Route 140 to access Route 1 and Gillette Stadium.
Parking lots open four hours prior to the start of each show. They also close immediately after each event ends. Gillette Stadium offers general parking, located on the opposite side of Route 1 from the stadium, for all ticket holders. General parking is included in the price of the event ticket, but fans who wish to park on the stadium side of Route 1 must purchase prepaid parking passes for $35. These passes are limited and subject to availability, according to officials.
To avoid parking passes altogether, fans can opt to take the train. The MBTA Commuter Rail and Keolis are providing round-trip, special event trains from Boston and Providence to Gillette Stadium concerts all summer long. Roundtrip tickets are $20 and can be bought beginning two weeks before each show on the mTicket app or ticket offices at South Station, North Station, and Back Bay. Regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes are not valid for special event trains.
Speaking of payments, Gillette Stadium is a cashless venue. All sales are now only accepted through electronic payment, including debit and credit cards, wallet, or watch. There are machines that convert cash to cards in the venue should you need it.
Gillette also institutes a clear bag policy and put out a list of prohibited items. Bags larger than a small wristlet or handheld wallet will not be allowed inside. Similarly, GoPro/video cameras, lasers, and outside food and beverage are not allowed. For a full list of prohibited items, click here.
Officials from Gillette Stadium want to wish everyone a happy and safe summer concert series. For more information about the upcoming concerts and the do’s and don’ts for fans attending, click here.
