BOSTON — Police detectives are busy piecing together clues from four crime scenes after multiple shootings occurred in Boston overnight as the 4th of July came to an end.

Seaver Street at Humboldt Avenue remains shut down as investigators attempt to learn more. One person is dead at the crime scene, and another was taken by ambulance to a hospital. Boston EMS confirmed three means of transport after reported shootings.

There were also shootings on Harold and Hollander Street as well as Spencer Street, Boston 25 News has learned. BPD was told a victim was shot and then struck by a motor vehicle at 3:23 a.m. Sunday.
Police have not shared information on the circumstances or if any arrests have been made.
