HAVERHILL, Mass. — he driver was killed and four people were injured when a minivan rolled over on Interstate 495 in Massachusetts, state police said.
The van rolled over at about 5:30 a.m. Monday in Haverhill, according to a statement from state police.
The driver, Alexander Nunez, 33, of Chelmsford, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four passengers, all from Lawrence, were taken to the hospital. Two adult women and an adult male had serious injuries, and an adult woman had minor injuries, according to the statement. Their names weren't released.
The preliminary investigation indicates that another vehicle may have cut into the van's lane, causing Nunez to swerve across all travel lanes and over the guardrail, the statement said.
Police are still trying to track down the other vehicle and are asking witnesses to come forward.
