NORFOLK, Mass. — Authorities are investigating a deadly crash in Norfolk Friday morning.
Officers responding to the area of Needham Street and Main Street around 10:31 a.m. for a serious collision found a sedan had crashed into a tree, according to Norfolk Police.
A 54-year-old Taunton woman who was driving the car was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Her identity is not being released at this time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
No further details were immediately made available.
