BOSTON — Nine people, including one child, were displaced after a fire broke out at a home in Dorchester.
Chief Dave Harrison said crews arrived at 975 Dorchester Ave. and found heavy flames on the third floor.
Firefighters “did a great job” of attacking the fire and bringing it under control, Harrison said.
Eight adults and one child were displaced. Harrison said they were out of the home by the time fire crews arrived.
No injuries were reported.
